Arcadia Solar, founded in 2009, was a family-owned business that specialized in offering residential and commercial solar solutions to the states of Arizona, California, Nevada, and Texas made solar energy more affordable and accessible by offering comprehensive services that spanned from initial consultation to providing continuous support after the installation.
In March of the year 2024, Arcadia Solar had to shut down due to the market situation and financial constraints. Customers were assured that most hardware in their solar systems remained under manufacturers’ warranty. In October of 2024, EnergyAid, a company operating in the Southwest, collaborated with Arcadia Solar to provide existing customers service and warranty problems at reduced rates.

Arcadia Solar provided purchase and lease options for solar systems. Purchase enabled homeowners to own the system, which could boost property value and save in the long term, as well as a 30% federal tax credit through 2032. Leasing offered up-front savings with minimal or no initial cost, fixed monthly payments, and no maintenance burden.
There were fixed prices, which were determined by system size, location, and personal energy requirements. For instance, in Arizona, the price per watt was around $2.61 on average, while an average 11.5 kW system cost around $21,011 after a 30% federal tax credit was applied.
Arcadia Solar’s satisfaction guarantee was evident in their full-service approach, such as permitting, inspection coordination, and constant support. Their in-house licensed electricians and contractors guaranteed quality workmanship from the installation point.
