Established in 2014, Cypress Creek Renewables is a top US solar and energy storage developer committed to energizing a sustainable future, project by project. It develops, finances, owns, and operates utility-scale and distributed solar and storage facilities in the USA. Cypress Creek has developed 12 gigawatts (GW) of solar projects to date and has more than 2 GW of operating solar assets today. Its operations and maintenance company, Cypress Creek Solutions, operates 5 GW of solar assets in 24 states. These core values shape Cypress Creek’s safety culture, innovation, decision-making, and collaboration.
Cypress Creek has invested more than $3 billion in storage and solar projects over the years. Its collection of owned assets has reduced around 11 million metric tons of CO₂ emissions, or enough to power 244,000 homes by 2023. Over 400 professionals work for the company as an integrated team to meet the sustainability goals.
In September 2024, Cypress Creek entered into an agreement with Maxeon Solar Technologies to use Maxeon’s high-efficiency solar panels in Cypress Creek’s big utility-scale projects such as the 208 MW Zier Hybrid Solar Site project in Brackettville, Texas. The plant went online in May 2024 and has the capacity to power more than 41,000 homes per year.
A decade of operation in the renewable energy space puts Cypress Creek Renewables at the forefront of developing and operating high-value solar and storage assets that serve communities for generations and driving the country’s energy future.
