We collect information through technology to better serve you. When you use our services or contact us or our service providers, we and, sometimes, our partners collect information about you and how you interact with the services. Below are some of the ways we collect this information. When you visit our services, we gather your Internet Protocol (IP) address. An IP address is linked to the network you use to access the internet, like your internet service provider (ISP), company, or university. While an IP address can show your ISP or location, it doesn’t reveal your identity on its own. However, we may connect the IP address you used to access the services with the personal information you’ve provided. We may also collect a unique identifier for the device you use to access the services ("Device Identifier"). This is a number automatically assigned to your device, and we may link it to other details about your visit, like which pages you viewed, and the personal information you’ve given us, such as your name. Additionally, we may gather information on how you interact with our services through advertising partners and data enhancement tools.
Cookies are small files that a website stores on your device through your web browser. These files help the website recognize your device and remember certain information. You can learn more about cookies at: www.allaboutcookies.org.
Our services generally use cookies for the following purposes:
1. To run our services properly.
2. To improve how our services work by personalizing content for you and remembering your preferences, such as your language or region.
3. For analytics purposes, to help us understand how our services are used.
4. To show you relevant ads— for example, cookies can remember that you visited our website and share this information with our advertising partners, such as AppNexus, Google, Nanigans, Facebook, and Twitter.
Many advertisers and service providers we work with participate in voluntary programs that let you opt out of interest-based advertising. For example, you can visit the Digital Advertising Alliance’s (DAA) website at https://youradchoices.com/ or https://youradchoices.com/appchoices to learn how to opt out of mobile apps. A few other companies belong to the Network Advertising Initiative (NAI) as well. Find more on the NAI and how you can opt out at http://www.networkadvertising.org/choices.
Even if you opt out of interest-based ads, you may still see other types of ads from different ad networks.
Our services apply analytics tools, such as Google Analytics, in order to understand how our services work and to analyze how you interact with them. This includes tracking which features you use, how you navigate, your clicks, cursor movements, and scrolling activity along with general information about website traffic, performance, and related data. You can access it by visiting https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout or downloading the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
Block Cookies by Configuring Your Browser: Most modern browsers support one of the following: block new cookies, notify when a cookie is received, or disable cookies altogether. Find more details about how to manage cookies through your browser settings at: https://allaboutcookies.org/ Note that blocking cookies could impact your preferences set on some of our services, and the way they're used might break.
We use tiny graphic images or web programming code called web beacons (also known as "pixel tags," "web bugs," or "clear GIFs") in our Services and our emails. These teeny-tiny graphics are roughly the size of a period and contain an identifier unique to the graphic; they are used to track how users move around our Site. Unlike cookies, which are stored on your computer's hard drive, web beacons are embedded invisibly on web pages. They help us manage our content better by letting us know which content is effective, how users navigate our site, how many people visit our services, and how many of our emails are opened.
Some of the tools of our Site allow us and our service providers to view how our visitors interact with our Services, and then we analyze that information to understand behavior so we can improve our offerings. For example, every time you engage with us online, we and our service providers may collect information such as how you browse.
We do not recognize or respond to browser "do not track" (DNT) settings. DNT is a preference in your web browser that signals to websites that you don't want them collecting any personally identifiable information about you. As stated above, we continue to track your online activity over time and across other websites and services. For example, our web beacons will pixel the links or ads you click on. We also may disclose any collected information to third-party service providers to advertise our Services to you on other websites or applications based on your activities while using our Services.
If you sign into our Services using a social media platform like Facebook, we may gather your Facebook authentication token and account ID. This information helps us give you access to your account on our Services.
Referrals
If you use our referral service to tell your friend about the Services, we will collect your friend's name and email address. We will send a one-time e-mail inviting them to visit our website. We retain that information for the sole purpose of sending that one-time e-mail and tracking the success of our referral program. Unless you consent or otherwise state, we will only send it in other marketing respects. Understand that, when referring to a friend, an e-mail address used by you may be included in your friend's message.
Ratings
The Services may display profiles of service professionals who are part of our network. This may include but is not limited to, the professional's name, together with ratings and reviews provided by customers of that professional. These profiles may be displayed to any user of the Services and on the websites of our booking partners.
You can also rate and review service professionals or service requests through the Services. When you leave a rating or review, we may publish your first name, the initial of your last name, and your neighborhood name with your feedback on the service professional's profile and our booking partners' websites. Service professionals may also use your ratings, reviews, and other information that you share publicly in their promotions.
We may also combine the information we collect about you through the Services with information that we collect from third parties. This will help us serve you better, customize our content for your needs and desires, and give you information that we think would interest you.
The Services contain links to other websites operated by third parties ("Third-Party Sites") and include plug-ins, like Twitter buttons, from these sites. We have no control over such Third-Party Sites and are not responsible for any information they collect. Each Third-Party Site has its privacy policy, so we recommend you read it if you decide to provide personally identifiable information or click on a plug-in.
Some Third-Party Sites may link to our Services and share information with us. For example, if you book our service through one of our booking partners, you would be required to provide details such as name, phone number, email address, and the address where you would like to be booked. The booking partner might then share this information with us.

You agree and acknowledge that you have all the necessary consents of any authorized users of your account for them to receive the messages from us as outlined here. You also agree that all consents given above shall be effective until your account is canceled.
You may opt out of any promotional or marketing text messages at any time. If you want to STOP all text messages, including promotional information text messages, you may reply "STOP" to any text message we send you. Please note that opting out of all messages will impair how you use our Services.
We hold the personal information referred to above for as long as we need it for the purposes identified in this Policy or as authorized by law. This normally means that we'll retain the information for one of the following purposes:
1 Your personal information is necessary for us to conduct our affairs, to maintain your relationship with us, or to achieve another purpose for which we obtained it.
2. Your personal information will only be used for a purpose that is compatible with the context in which it was collected.
3. We are entitled to collect personal information to protect or defend our rights or property as authorized by applicable laws.
If the purpose of collection includes more than one purpose, we will keep the personal information for as long as the longest retention period of the purposes.
